Homecoming is a very special high school tradition. We are so happy to have Madison Chapman and Aubrey Garrett for our ninth grade homecoming representatives. In honor of homecoming week, we would like to spotlight them.
When announced, one of the Homecoming representatives, Aubrey Garrett, a varsity cheerleader, FCA member and swim team member, expressed that she was shocked; “I was surprised but very excited to be chosen among my classmates,” she says. She also mentioned, “It is an honor to be chosen among my peers and to represent my class.”
Garrett would also like to notify her peers that she is a big Sam Hunt fan.
When Chapman was announced to be a Homecoming representative, she stated “I felt honored that I was chosen to represent my freshman class”. She also mentioned, “It means my classmates think I will do a good job representing them”.
Chapman enjoys playing softball for the high school and she also enjoys “how the teachers push us to do our best”.
One thing Chapman would like for the rest of the campus to know is that “I’m obsessed with Orange is the New Black’.
As we enjoy the last of the homecoming festivities, please congratulate these girls for their achievement in being a Ninth grade campus Homecoming representative in the 2015-2016 year.
