Mostly everyone loves that day when you can be anything you want to be for the night and get free candy. Although a lot of people love to dress up and go out to trick or treat, for some people that is the last they they want to do. They may think their too old to go out, think its weird, or they may just not like candy and think it’s a total waste of time. If you can relate to not wanting to go trick or treating, then here are five things to do for Halloween that don’t involve you going trick or treating. The first thing you could do on this scary night is go to a graveyard. What would be better to do than go to one of the scariest places on one of the scariest nights of the year. Think about it, going somewhere when it gets dark that’s technically considered haunted and walking around trying to spook your friends. It doesn’t matter if you do or don’t believe in ghosts, the graveyard would be an all around cool way to spend your halloween.
If you don’t want to go trick or treating and all you want to do is stay at the house, then Netflix is always an option. If all you’re going to do is sit at home on this spooky night then it’s the best time to catch up on all those classic horror films that you love. There are also shows coming back for another season in October as well so make sure to check those out as you binge watch all those movies.
If you still want to go and get all dressed up as something a good alternative to trick or treating is to attend or host a Halloween related party. Halloween parties can be super fun when you dress up with your friends. You and all your friends can hang out and have an overall great time without the hassle of trick or treating.
Another thing you could do on this wonderful night or scares is to tell stories. Whether you’re sitting around a campfire with your friends or in a dark room with a flashlight on your face. This would be a great way to spook your friends or just give them a laugh.
When all else fails, give kids candy. Although you don’t like the idea of dressing up and going trick or treating, other kids might love to. Also there can never be too many houses for a kid to go ask for a trick or a treat.
