We all know that about a month ago, we we are all ringing in the New Year and also coming up with New Year resolutions. New year resolutions are when a person resolves to change an undesired trait or behavior.
The most common one is either eating healthier or going to the gym. By this time, the gyms usually start to clear and eating sugary or greasy stuff is back. People usually go back to their old habits or problems. The main reason people go back to theses habits is because they get sidetracked or tempted.
Ways to stay true to your resolution include things like making plans. This could be making a series of small steps to achieving it. Also, be specific to what you are going to do when achieving your resolution. Make sure they fit your own values.
One important thing to do is have an accountability partner or someone who can make sure you are sticking with your plan. Make sure to take setbacks in stride and recommit to your goals. Never give up!
